Western House Hotel Ayr

Immaculate hotel with friendly staff who kindly upgraded us for our anniversary. Comfortable bed and spacious bath. Great location near the park and close to the town center. The hotel facilities are beautifully decorated and the bar offers a lovely covered courtyard for drinks. The staff made our dog feel welcome with special treats and a dog bed.

We had a delightful stay at Western House and thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary water and shortbread provided. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and we loved spending our evenings playing cards in the cozy lounge. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return for another wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic stay for New Year's! the terraced suite was beyond expectations, with high-quality fittings and impeccable cleanliness. the inclusive 3-course dinner offered an extensive menu without any extra charges. the chef's imaginative and beautifully presented dishes, especially the desserts, were a delight. the staff, including Emma at reception, were attentive and made our stay enjoyable. the price was great, and the hotel's location was convenient for our needs.

Our first room had a strong damp smell, but the staff promptly changed our room during the night. Although the staff claimed not to smell anything, our friends agreed that it was unpleasant.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location right next to the Racecourse was perfect for us, as we are big fans of horse racing. The room amenities were top-notch, including a mini-bar, a sitting area, and a terrace where we could enjoy a cup of tea while soaking in the beautiful garden view. We had a fantastic 3-day break at Western House! Our room was upgraded to a suite when our original room didn't have a separate shower. The manager was incredibly understanding and resolved the issue promptly. The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent food and friendly staff. The sun even shone throughout our stay! I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The location, right next to the Racecourse, was perfect for me as I wanted to attend a race.
