Western House Hotel Ayr

We had a delightful stay at Western House and thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary water and shortbread provided. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and we loved spending our evenings playing cards in the cozy lounge. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return for another wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

Guests can enjoy the excitement and thrill of the races just steps away from their accommodation. The spacious rooms are well-furnished and boast excellent facilities, including a powerful shower and complimentary breakfast. The staff provide exceptional service, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Some residents have mentioned that it can take a bit of time to get a drink at the bar due to the lack of dedicated bartenders.

Fantastic stay for New Year's! The terraced suite was beyond expectations, with high-quality fittings and impeccable cleanliness. The inclusive 3-course dinner offered an extensive menu without any extra charges. The chef's imaginative and beautifully presented dishes, especially the desserts, were a delight. The staff, including Emma at reception, were attentive and made our stay enjoyable. The price was great, and the hotel's location was convenient for our needs.

Our first room had a strong damp smell, but the staff promptly changed our room during the night. Although the staff claimed not to smell anything, our friends agreed that it was unpleasant.

We had a fantastic 3-day break at Western House! Our room was upgraded to a suite when our original room didn't have a separate shower. The manager was incredibly understanding and resolved the issue promptly. The hotel itself is beautiful, with excellent food and friendly staff. The sun even shone throughout our stay! I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable getaway.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The location, right next to the Racecourse, was perfect for me as I wanted to attend a race.
